The parish of Lamas de Moreira belongs to the town hall of A Fonsagrada and has the oldest temple of the municipality, rebuilt in the eighteenth century.
Santa María de Lamas de Moreira, is a Romanesque style church, built with slother masonry, has a large semi-cylindrical apse with an original collection of canecillos on the cornice, suede clock, all attached to the atrium with its arched entrance and the nave itself, demonstrate a great sculptural richness.
Located in a beautiful landscape, evident throughout the area and part of the Eo-Oscos-Terras de Burón Biosphere Reserve and the Natura 2000 Network, this church with Latin cross plant, has access to the interior through a portico with three-water roof, an arch forms the main entrance, the bell tower has two bodies, the lower one for three bells and the upper one with stone finishes that culminate in balls.
