The church of San Xurxo, is located on the banks of the River Eo, specifically on its left bank. Neoclassical in style, it was built around 1782, with stone walls and Latin cross plant. A nave covered by a barrel vault and two chapels, with slate cover where its beautiful bell tower stands out.
Surrounded by the cemetery and a natural environment, its arch at the main entrance gives way to a solemn interior, where a neoclassical altarpiece and a silver cross stand out.
Located in the municipality of Ribeira de Piquín, a place in the Eo-Oscos-Terras de Burón Biosphere Reserve, the REd Natura 2000 and the Geodestinos of Galicia. we find the spectacular Church of San Xurxo, it shares the name of the parish that welcomes it.
