It is located in the Ferrería del Buen Retiro, in the town hall of A Fonsagrada, forming part of the Eo-Oscos-Terras de Burón Biosphere Reserve,
From A Fonsagrada, you go to the parish of Vilar de Cuiña, by a track we go down to the Suarna River and there we find the Ferrería, a beautiful set of mill, warehouse, house, chapel and the iron shop, where through the main wall the holes are discovered.
To take a tour of this irony, which was one of the largest in the peninsular northwest, is to delve into the industrial history of A Fonsagrada, and still notice the activity of iron, which ended in the last century.
Seeing the coal mills, with the pillars holding the large deck, in addition to the hydraulic complex, the overflows between the mill and the ironmill, even the pond, of this factory founded in the late eighteenth century, is an incredible spectacle in an idyllic landscape.
