The Eo River and Rodil

The Eo River, born in Fonteo (Baleira), its transparent waters slide through slate and cuarcitas, from its birth and along its route, leaves very attractive places to know, practice activities or snack with the sound of nature, while, perhaps we are observed by salmon.

The river Eo, enters Terras de Burón, providing the environment with paradisiacal river beaches such as A Retorta or Chao do Pousadoiro in Ribeira de Piquín, not forgetting its spectacular waterfalls, the different ethnographic elements such as hórreos and mills or the surrounding mountains, ideal for climbing or observing them from the canoes.

The Rodil River, where trout dance, is the main tributary of the Eo River, born in A Fonsagrada, in the Serra do Invernal, and runs beautifully majestic among native forests, leaving us beautiful seimeiras in its course, makes a meander in Ribeira de Piquín, with the Church dos Baos contemplating it from above.

The Suarna River in A fonsagrada offers places such as the river beach Pena do Inferno or the Seimeira de Vilagocende, essential if you visit Terras de Burón.

The three rivers are ideal for lovers of fishing, water adventures or those who want to know the beautiful villages in their path, their heritage, their culture and their gastronomy.
